Just switched on now. Paul Williams (journalist for The Sun) is currently on stage as part of a panel talking about crime. Some gombeen from the audience is now ranting about law and order and sentences being too short. He wants sentences 3 times longer. He's obviously been at the brandy.

He said "The sentences should be three times longer than they should be". That just does not make sense. "Three times longer than they are" he meant to say, me thinks. Iv'e switched it off.

Heard that, awful attack on Ming & Wallace. Also go at Conor Brady about putting manners on gardai. Of course i think Williams has garda protection & gets inside stories from garda. Was he not also on list for penalty points scrappage ?

Michael McGrath (the man with the big ginger head) now opens Finance workshop. He says Fianna Fáil are now credible again on financial issues and have real solutions.

St Lenny's sidekick. Probably doesn't know what the word "credibility" means.

But the wording of that proposal means it's not binding on the PP. They're allowed to add the word "Brass" if they feel the need.

Doubt if the fearless 'crime' reporter will denounce FF's tax amnesty back in the 1990s for their criminal buddies, the donations in brown paper bags that went astray, the dig outs etc

And similiar with the banks etc Of course they couldn’t do that for 14 years in govt and in fact endorsed it.

FF is a party of decent, respectful people who would never use a dead person’s memory for political football.

I love the way the FF leadership pretend they respect the delegates when in reality they are cringing inside every time they speak.
