Clearly, most attention will, rightly, be on FG, FF and SF, but how can the other parties best secure their share of TV coverage? Perhaps the following formats would best suit:

1. Three-way debate featuring the Big Three.
2. Four/five way debate focusing on the minor parties.
3. Seven-way debate, a la Claire Byrne last year.

Further questions to ponder might include whether an Independent representative should participate, and whether an election debate should be streamed live on social media, to capitalise on IT reach.

FFS. Zoo this garbage. Irish people should be more concerned with preventing an election until after Brexit negotiations so that we can play the best hand we have.
