The Regressive Left. Again. Burrito Stand forced to shut

The US has had a great fear of encampments of homeless because in the past they have had so many problems from them - army deserters during and after the Civil War, Dust Bowl oakies on the California trail in the 30s and the huge Homeless Veterans Protests which took place outside Washington in the 20s.

They will go through them busting heads. Move them on.

Its no solution, of course. Tragic, appalling.
Yeah. Not too keen on that whole "right of assembly" bit at all are they?
Even if it's out of desperation and necessity.

They certainly didn't like the Occupy movement much either.
Arrested 8000 or so of them on trumped up charges IIRC.

Question is, were the police that arrested a pensioner for feeding the homeless
fascists or socialists? :D

Obama even tweaked the law, with Occupy and others in mind.
“HR 347, just signed without fanfare or news coverage by Barack Obama makes it illegal to protest anywhere the Secret Service is present. Who is present everywhere that Barack Obama goes? That’s right, the Secret Service. Ergo, it is illegal to protest Barack Obama. Well, there goes the 1st Amendment.”

oh...I forgot. The memory hole is down to a few weeks now isn't it.
In the context of this thread, you should know enough to pay heed to these things and not wait to have them pointed out to you.

You should also know that you have to be careful in the land of the free.

The US has always relied on heavy-handed law enforcement to temporarily solve social problems which have causes quite distinct from criminality per se.

Here we spy the problem of taking information — in this case incorrect mis-information — at second- or fifth-hand, without checking it out, and then manipulating it into a partisan issue.

House Resolution 347, as amended by the senate, and passed 27th February 2012, approved on 8th March 2012, is a cleaning-up of prior legislation. It is about security in official buildings, particularly those where the President or Vice-president might be, or their guests (e.g. the White House).

No more. No less.

Now here comes another slight problem. It wasn't Obama who "tweaked the law". It was the properly-elected Houses of Congress. Presidential powers extend only to approve or to veto such a bill.

Oh, and the Republicans (as a result of the 2010 mid-terms) had a 242-193 majority in the House of Representatives.

You think the "left wing" SJW trojan horse fúckwits are bad?

Look what the right wing fascist state are doing over there too:

Man, 90, arrested again this week for feeding the homeless - NY Daily News
Whatabout whatabout whatabout!!!!!!!!!

Start a thread on it. Invite opinion.

You will at least have the advantage of it having the apparent "correct" political slant, so you shouldn't have to deal with descend flicks of retards parroting "zoo zoo zoo", or trying to have it so derailed it is enthusiastically closed by one of our wonderfully even handed moderators.
