Jack and a couple of other bozos were triumphant a few posts back about how this was a tantrum and an indictment of Trump regime. Great white hope is a figure of speech......stop being a pedant
Total BS, as others have pointed out, no one has said a positive word for Bolton, let alone suggest he is now our "great white hope.

CNN FFS-the only brain farts I discern are the ones emanating from your direction.....eugghhhh

Wag,
CNN do not conduct polls. nor do FOX or ABC or NBC or pretty much any main stream media outlet.
they pay independent respected and professional polling companies to conduct polls and then report those findings honestly.

I find it astonishing that someone who claims to be a journalist of serious reputation would not understand this sort of thing.

Trump's chances of reelection are receding as these polls clearly demonstrate a significant majority of Americans detest him.
You can believe Trump that he has undisclosed private internal polls that say he is "doing great", and dozens of private independent pollsters of massive reputation and professionalism are all joined in a wide scale plot to put out totally fake polls to undermine him.
Bang away, it's nuts, but bang away

I hope k*nt Bolton dies roaring.

Bolton is a neocon, Trump a country-club Republican nationalist like Dick Cheney. Trump and Bolton have a lot in common, despite the pretence to the contrary.

Bolton probably finally snapped and called his boss a "moron" like Rex Tillerson did.

Anyway, the way is now open for Tucker Carlson to step in a National Security Adviser. He has the only key qualification you need to work for Trump - be a Fox News Talking Head.

PS Maybe he could take Flynnser out of retirement? He is not in jail yet.

Great tweets by Warren

The American people are better off with John Bolton out of the White House. The world will be better off when the man who hired him in the first place is out too.

And Sanders

A symptom of the problem is gone. The root cause of authoritarianism remains

So funny. Fake Libbies consider Bolton the Prince of Darkness and a warmonger. All of a sudden, he gets fired by Trump and he immediately becomes the great white hope. Trump Derangement Syndrome is real people.
Nobody considers Bolton to be the great white anything. He’s always been a warmonger unless he had to do the actual fighting. He was typical of the third rate (at best) type that would work in the Trump administration.

Even he couldn’t put up with Trump’s cr@p anymore and Trump (again) hadn’t the balls to fire him face to face.

Farcical.

No, not at all. I quoted Trump's Sunday quote with the qualification saying if it was true, Turns out it was true in that Trump never said Dorian was going to definitely hit Alabama. He patently didn't so it's been you that has been exposed as yet another victim of TDS.
Nobody can predict the path of any hurricane with absolute certainty, but Trump had absolutely no business claiming that "Alabama will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated" because it was completely false and worse, it was hugely irresponsible.
Then his behaviour turned from irresponsible to reprehensible, faking a map in an attempt to show that he had been telling the truth. :ROFLMAO: To make matters even worse, a member of his cabinet then threatened to sack the weather experts for telling the truth in order to put the people of Alabama at ease. That's what tinpot dictators in the Third World get up to ffs.
You're supporting an absolute clown at this stage and you're not even embarrassed by it.

And it has a meaning...........................
Nobody suggested that they saw Bolton as a "great white hope" or anything close to it. You made it up.

More BS---why do you think Trump mentioned Alabama. Do you actually think that he pulled the idea out of his ass. And if so why didn't he mention Texas as well. Your theory doesn't make any sense.
So he says what he says. No big deal. Alabama is put on alert. Then a couple of Trump hating locals decide to try and make a cheap shot and state Alabama won't be hit, Thus contracting Trump and what he had been told. Trump was pssed and he had a right to be. Should he have handled it better? Probably, but as far as I can see, Trump did nothing wrong.

'Did he pull the idea out of his ass'?

It would appear that he did yeah.

But no matter if he misunderstood the data.

It was the attempt by his administration to fire the experts that sought to put the record straight that lets you know what you're dealing with; as if you didn't already.

The GOP have won both special elections in North Carolina tonight. NC 3 and NC 9, a good night for the GOP.

They were always going to win NC-3.

NC-9 was a district Trump won by +12.

This time round, the Republicans spent millions on this race, sending all their big guns (including Trump) to campaign there and won by a margin of 2% (50.7% to 48.7%).

I wouldn’t be popping the champagne corks just yet. Let’s give it a few weeks and see how many Republican congressmen decide to retire after having a good look at the result there.

Great news. So important for the world that Trunp is re-elected. Shudder to think what could happen if crazy Dems ever get near power again.

In a word, yes. It is obvious as it didn't come from the weather people.
The rest of your post isn't worth addressing.

Trump doing the business again. And modest about it as well.

Trump doing the business again. And modest about it as well.

In 2016 the then Republican incumbent won NC - 9 by a margin of 58.2% to 41.8%.

After three years of Trump, the Republican candidate (not an incumbent admittedly and incumbency does have advantages) won by a margin of 50.7% to 48.7%.

Yes, a win is a win is a win and a win is always, always better than a loss, but anyone who sees a shrinking of a winning margin from 16.4 to 2 as a good thing is ignoring reality. Trump, as you can see from his tweet, is ignoring reality.

Republican Congressmen in districts with a single digit margin of victory last time round will be looking at these figures and making their own judgments.

As I said, let's see how the next few weeks go in terms of Republican Congressmen retiring. So far, 15 Republicans have announced that they're retiring to 4 Democrats.
