As we get into the final leg of this drawn out US election things are fluid.

The possibility of a Trump win is not as far fetched as we might think? Especially now after recent MORE Hillary email stuff.

Also BREXIT happened which turned the polsters upside down. Our belief in polls diminished considerably in recent times.

So just like the unthinkable event that was Brexit we could be looking in about a weeks time at a TRUMP presidency in the US.

How realistic is Donald Trump's Mexico wall? - BBC News

The US-Mexico border is about 1,900 miles (3100 km) long and traverses all sorts of terrain from empty, dusty desert to the lush and rugged surroundings of the Rio Grande.

Some 650 miles of the border is covered already by a confused and non-continuous series of fences, concrete slabs and other structures.

Mr Trump says his wall will cover 1,000 miles and natural obstacles will take care of the rest.
Channel 4 just did a piece on an upsurge of Mexicans making the crossing PRE ELECTION as many believe TRUMP will be president. They want to get in before THE WALL.

This post asks the question COULD THE WALL BETWEEN MEXICO and USA ACTUALLY HAPPEN? How feasible is it?

1500km. 20 billion plus. No real purpose. No prospect of Mexico paying.

What do you think?

Interesting article in the New York Times property section today about Trump properties and people trying to sell since he announced his candidacy... http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/30/realestate/real-estate-trump-brand-tarnished-by-the-election.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Frealestate&action=click&contentCollection=realestate&region=rank&module=package&version=highlights&contentPlacement=2&pgtype=sectionfront&_r=0

If Trump becomes president and gets his finger on the nuclear button, the wall is the least of Americas and the world's worries.

The Chinese built a 2,000km wall 2,200 years ago to protect the country from Eurasian barbarians.

If they could do it, the Yanks should have the capability.

Won't the Mexicans just climb over it, or tunnel under it, or blow holes in it with dynamite?

Hiliary is far more likely to start WWIII than Trump- just look at her extreme demonization of Putin (who Im ambigious about) and Russia. Trump is flambouyant but he has both business sense and basic patriotism to prevent him from being to psycho.

Personally I would love to build a wall around Fermanagh.

The sort of business sense that blows a billion on strip clubs and casinos which is next to impossible.

A fella can claw back from 4 bankrupties.

I doubt that the USA could handle it very well though.

Then again, maybe Mexico will build the wall and get the gringos to pay for it.

I recently met a chap in construction who works for Trump in Scotland. He said the last time Trump was there he came into the office where all the contractors were having a meeting and said: 'c'mon guys, get finished here as fast as you can, I'm taking you all out to the States to build a wall', and he laughed away with them all.

Make of that what you will.
That of course being before he stiffed them for the contract as he always does.

This may come as a shock but politicians are known to say things during an election cycle that they then back track on, especially things which are not feasible, unless he invades Mexico he isn't forcing anyone to pay for it.

Anyways it'll never come to that, George has it sown up for Hilary

That worked out swimmingly for them didn't it!
Speaking of Chinese I'm sure only the finest Chinese steel will be used!
