I got a chance to look at this during the poppy debate and i have to say i am impressed. Peace activists in the 1920's devised the white poppy as a symbol expressing desire for an end to war and remembrance of all victims of war.
Contrast with the red poppy which is used as propoganda for british colonialism and war crimes such as the gang raping of women in Kenya.

So i put it to anyone who wears the red poppy to explain why they cant wear a white one to remember their great grandfathers of WW1 and grandfathers of WW2.

If its worn as a symbol against the brainwashing of soldiers to become cannon fodder to further politicians and their careers, then I'm all for it.

The Brit's won't wear it, it would only remind them of all the country's they were beaten out of.

You did, and it's been discussed at length in both existing Poppy threads. We don't need a third thread on this, as you can see from the replies, they all end up the same anyway.
