Sorry Norm, but there's an interesting documentary on BBC 2 at 23.15 this evening: "Theresa V Boris - How May became PM"

For me, that out-popcorns Vinnie by 6 bags to 2½.

McGarry and Menzies. Vinny will need two pulpits.

There were those four people in a bar and they were talking about the Catholic Church ...

VB brings women into the discussion. "You say those men were intellectuals? Why were there no intellectual WOMEN?"

Is there any subject more boring than this nonsense , Browne is obsessed with this kind of stuff.

The poor priest has to explain to an agnostic what faith is. Then he has to explain what God is. Difficult.

Disappointed to see Vincent Twomey is still against the ordination of woman. Bases that on a rather narrow interpretation of the bible and the nature of the apostolic succession.

Meanwhile there are only two priests in my local presbytery. Used to be four. They have to serve a wide area, including some islands.

It may be already be too late, but imho it is worth a try.

Basically VB asking the priest if belief in God matters if there is a belief in Justice. I think there's a bit more to humanity that mere mere cold justice, and you don't have to believe in God to know that.
