This has absolutely nothing to do with the show ... but it's about time we had a bit of a singalong ... while we are waiting ...

First part about electronic spying by the CIA.

Second part about the famine in four African countries.

A lot of talk about getting on top of the situation and only four months to do it, but no word about how this it to be done, with armed conflict in several of the countries. Surely a real job for the United Nations to protect those people and feed them? Charity organizations going in are being robbed and terrorised.

Missed the first part. Was it any good or worth watching on repeat?

Now going to talk about letting Irish people living abroad vote in the Irish Presidential election.

Can’t say I’m very happy with this idea. You need to be living here to truly know the situation and not be swayed by the lies of the big parties.

I wouldn't think so, really. Rather feeble on what you can do to secure yourself from the spying of the CIA and criminal gangs. Is there a difference between those two, apart from the fact the the law is on the side of the CIA?

VB asks should only those born in Ireland get to vote for the pres. Fianna Fail one says that only those who have lived in Ireland should get that right. VB fails to take her up on it.

There should be an option that people could vote for the execution of politicians who betrayed them whether through taking bribes or by actions against the Irish people. :)

Analects of Dan O’Brien
Parliamentary Democracy good; Direct Democracy bad.
When a club (the EU) had Big People and Little People in it, the rules don’t apply to the Big People.

When VB pointed out that the properties of the Religious orders were trusts (and not private properties) established by the people for certain reasons like hospitals and schools and that for this reason, they couldn’t be used to pay compensation or restitution, O’Brien’s masterly reply was “So it’s all on the tax payer, so?” He must be posting on this site.

Certainly there should be some way for the people to censure them
