Refreshing to get the real facts instead of the smoke and mirrors of the politicians. Sometimes it's a relief not to have those empty vessels on.

Those people are wondering why the government are in no great hurry to move towards a more equal society. It’s the “I’m all right, Jack” syndrome.

So with the lady from the Inequality Industry talking about "citizens", does she mean Irish citizens or EU citizens or what? How come the people actually affected by "inequality" are never on these shows?

According to the twitter, they have great issues with abysmal public services. If the taxes went towards providing the services instead of constantly falling into a black hole, most reasonable people would have no problem with paying them. The people who have the most problem with paying taxes are the people who don't need public services.

One of the highest funded health services in the OECD. And you could throw billions more at it and it'd still be the same- just even higher wages.
Some of the best paid Civil Servants in the world with gold plated pensions and jobs for life.
Highest number of jobless households in the EU as mentioned on Claire Byrne earlier.

But as usual the answer to all probelsm according to the Left is more taxes

I agree. What is the point when vincent wants to discuss inequality (as he does nearly every night) in having on 2 lefties who agree with every word he says? why not just let him talk about inequality until the panellists who will discuss journalistic sources turn up?

Couldn't take the lefty love in and switched to claire byrne

VB playing the Devil's Advocate rather well. The Water Charges would be a "broad tax".

The "Right to Water" crowd lately saying that they would have no problem charging for excessive use of the commodity. Fine Gael eyes light up. Someone told me that Leo says he's committed to implementing the water charges.

He had a show on immigration last year it was 4 pro immigration and 1 for immigration control, and that one was picked because Vincent knew he could destroy her on the show. Nobody like Hook or O'Doherty who would robustly debate with Vincent and call him on his bull were selected.

The panelists were talking about raising income/wealth taxes from what I understood
Tax the MNC's at12.5 and this country would not need to impoverish some of its citizens and tax their labour unfairly.

Cut out the massive tax benefits to vulture funds and other corporate welfare and we would not have become one of the most unequal society's after the U.S...

I don't disagree with you on that.
12.5% is already very generous. It should be the absolute minimum payable not the starting point from which to then aim for near 0%
