TONIGHT with Vincent Browne, Mon 29, Tues 30, Wed 31 May, Thurs 1 June 2017 @ 11pm

A current affairs programme from an alternative perspective, focusing on issues of income and inequality,
as well as seeking to hold institutions and powerful people to account.

As he said last week, Vincent is on his holiers this week, so, I understand, guest presenters are Sarah McInerney

or Mick Clifford

I like Sarah McInerney. She is usually able to read the newspaper headlines without many problems. Hopefully she's presenting tonight.

Is the result of the Great Fine Gael Bake-off known yet? Will it get a mention

Children being taken from their families twice every day by the Gardai according to Catherine Ghent! How are there any children left with their families?

here we go, the Roma taxpayers and contributors to culture, economy and never a drain on any social welfare or justice resources get a clean bill of health from the do-gooders.

Honestly, more Gardai in the community has to happen,

I'm sure Catherine would know all about that considering most of the GALs she represented in childcare proceedings concurred with the CFA in supporting the care orders.

Why do I think you'll be on your own tonight, Dorcha.

Well, Storybud has turned up. I suspect people will be keeping an eye on it in case something turns up. It's the content which counts, isn't it, not the presenter.

More of the same, so far. They talk and they talk. All of them want to do something but none of them ever do anything.

Lawless talks about the three million hole in the mental health budget. Mick asks him why they don't twist the government's arm. Lawless starts babbling about FF introducing the children's act. Ho Hum!

Now they are starting to talk about the Sisters of Charity giving up their interest in the hospital. What is there to discuss here?

Clifford trying to score a few points off the Sinn Fein man over his former support for the original situation with the hospital. I suppose he's trying to do a VB, but isn't this discussing a problem which has been solved?

Joan Collins: "We shouldn't be expecting that our health service would be provided by a charitable organization".

Of course not, but if the government refuses to do it ...
