Just watching Mick Clifford on tv 3 now regarding well know builders who were huge contributors to FF.FG .

One of the best things this new government could do, would be to bring in new laws holding those builders to account under new CRIMINAL Laws, not Civil Laws as this imposes the burden of proof on the purchaser.

But given so many of these builders/developers were major contributers tonFF.FG, I doubt it.

oh , here we go again, , an Architect living in a Georgian double fronted house in Sandycove knows what's best for the other 99% who don't live in lotto priced houses ?

apart from the usual finger wagging and dodgy builders linked to politicians and planners it will be no surprise.

I would personally love if Ireland had one journalist that exposed all the corruption and took photo's of the grand houses the likes of Beverly and her ilk still enjoy, there are loads of politicians/planners living it up well after retirement that caused havoc to ordinary hard pressed mortgage payers for the crap we bought.

I cannot stress enough the importance to kids starting out to run to the hills when they take their eye off the ball regarding location, location, location and never, ever buy in an area where they will stick the social housing in after you have bought.

Sure the Architect Mel is living proof, he certainly would not be found in a duplex in Blanchardstown but feels eminently qualified to lecture those who do ? Huh, ?

I myself believe in high quality future proofing builds that can be designed to last for 500 years or more and passed on to the next generation.

Otherwise we are heading for,,

Well, I never heard of him .... but then I haven't been anywhere near the housing market for decades.. This is the most recent quote I could find.

State is key to cheaper pads

and there's one pic of the inside of his home in this ...

very difficult to understand what is Vinnie saying, he keeps slurring or his teeth are loose but they need to sort it out or use subtitles

The developer should make the necessary repairs out of his own money. The builder who built the flats for him should be in prison.

But this, of course, is Ireland.

No, off you go. We'll just have to struggle on without you.
Be brave. Struggling myself Norms, kicked by horse, nearly broke my leg. In agony here. May have to have a lie in the morning to recover.

A few nice gifts from the posters would make me feel better. Thanks.

For how long will the Irish state fail the Irish people in so many ways? At least as long as the Irish people continue to vote those wasers in.
