False social hierarchies. Amazing how some people still believe that as they work on their Dortspeak "accent". :)
One thing I know is and where I live, the first thing on their agenda is the abandoning of their local/ county accents.

Thankfully the Dort accent is disappearing, but a non identifiable American accent is now the norm.

it's like they are trying to erase their origins.

That's why I think accents are great, they are original, authentic, and unique.

Spidey is missing from the thread tonight. Sure she'd be over the moon to read on the front page of the Examiner that "More than 1,000 HSE staff *earned* over €150,000 last year.

The paper says earned, I say got. maybe it eas earned; maybe it wasn't.

Spreading this......

The HSE have published their Annual report today. Its hows the increases (!!) in nurses between Dec 14 and Dec 15.
Nurse Managers gone from 6602 to 6947
Nurse Specialists.....1332 to 1475
Staff Nurses .......24422 to 24748
Nursing Students......404 to 387 ( dont know what this category means? Is it post grads maybe?)
Nursing (other) ...... 289 to 295
Giving a grand total of 820 more nurses in the year 2014 to 2015 and the majority were Nurse Managers!
I also see that nurse numbers are up 2.4%
Management and Admin are up 6.9%

Would presume that not too many nurses are included in the over 150,000 wage bracket!!
:-D
