Latvian Ambassador seems to be a rock of sense. "The IMF don't have tanks they don't control our borders." The Latvians seem to have solid politicians and a populace who are clued in judging by the fact that they voted back the government who imposed IMF conditions.

Some very fair, reasoned points from the ambassador, shame our government treats us like mushrooms.
