Simpson said Trump's golf courses in Scotland and Ireland were also "concerning" because financial statements "obtained by Fusion showed they show enormous amounts of capital flowing into these projects from unknown sources."
"At least on paper it says it's from The Trump Organization, but it's hundreds of millions of dollars," Simpson said. "And these golf course are just, you know, they're sinks. They don't actually make any money."
Fusion GPS interview with House panel leaves huge pile of breadcrumbs for Trump-Russia investigators - Business Insider Nordic

One wonders whether the central bank or the criminal assets bureau will poke a stick into this hornet's nest.

I still think the idea of walking around spreading bird seed all over the course is a brilliant idea.

That a deep suspicion that Trump's golf clubs have been bought and funded entirely with borrowed Russian money is not only not a surprise, but Eric Trump openly admitted it.

Eric Trump 'said father's golf courses got funding from Russia,' Arnold Palmer's biographer claims

"So when I got in the cart with Eric, as we were setting off I said, 'Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks, because of the recession, the Great Recession, have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years.'"

Mr Dodson claimed Eric Trump then told him: "Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.

Please note this is a Daily Telegraph article and James Dodson is a hugely respected figure in golf (and as far as I know a Republican)

There appears little doubt that Trump businesses are awash with Russian money
But his cultists will simply say "so what"?
Mueller won't

This Simpson chap is just an anti Trump'er who is throwing accusations around like confetti with little to back it up.

CNN had yet another big breaking news story last night about an investigation of Trump money laundering by congress , Anderson Cooper was getting all excited saying this has just come in and could be a huge story , they then went to their capital Hill reporter who explained that the story was about Democrat Adam Schiff calling for an investigation in to money laundering by the Trump organisation on foot of Simpsons testimony.

But when they delved into the story Simpson had no evidence of anything , even when pressed by members of the committee to provide any evidence to justify an investigation he said he could not but said they should investigate it anyway.

When they went back to the studio Cooper was visible disappointed and admitted the story might not be as big as they thought and the breaking news strap disappeared from the screen.

This is sworn testimony FFS
If he is caught lying or making stuff up, there will be drastic consequences for him and his livelihood
Trump cultists dismissing people like Simpson and Steele as idiots are deeply ignorant.
Both are hugely intelligent and professional.

Simpson in fact, has done most of his private work after WSJ for GOP.

There is no way Ty Cobb read all this and said "totally crap, nothing to worry about here"
But he is paid to do a professional job defending Trump, not spread Trump cultism to feeble fools

Was there in anyone in the 2016 election not getting money from Russia.

But all he has done is made accusations that he admits he has no real proof to back up , they are merely hunches of his because the Trump's did business in Russia.

In one of his opening statements he said the main reason for their investigation into Trump and his business was because they thought it was suspicious that an American company would decide to do business in such a notoriously corrupt country etc etc

But the fact is thousands of US companies do business in Russia , many of these companies even donate to the democrats etc , should they all be investigated? Bill Clinton goes over for a few days and does a behind closed doors speech to Russian bankers and comes back with over 500,000 dollars for his trouble. And nobody seems to have an issue with that.

It seems to only the Trump organisation that should not be allowed do any business in Russia without been accused of crimes.

Yes, but what your asking for there is a consistent approach.

That's not going to happen.

The OP says that Simpson says Trump golf courses are awash with Russian money.
Eric Trump confirmed that all golf course funding post the crash in 2008 came from Russia.

Maybe this is entirely above board but for now, all Simpson is saying is that many Trump projects are awash with Russian cash and the flows in and out of these projects (from his intelligence experience) look excessive.

You might try to laugh this off, I can guarantee you Mueller isn't.

Yes. British intelligence shills promote British intelligence conspiracy theories online in hope of King Harry and Queen Meghan on Washington throne.
Trump is the archetypal American idiot, elected by other American idiots, end of.

Large volumes of money flowing in an unusual way, from undisclosed locations, to other unknown destinations....that is the entire business model of the IFSC.

The problem is that if they do somethiing, the Trump Administration might ask questions about the rest of the "business model" of Ireland Inc.

Remember, we are talking about the "vision" of CJH. And that is now the basis of a lot of what occurs here.

Ireland is a very corrupt entity. So corrupt that a journalist had to be sacked, for revealing the truth about the cancellation of penatly points, of officials involved in the implementation of "justice" in Ireland.

The journalist did NOT get sacked for doing a bad job. The hournalist got sacked for doing a good job !!!!

Ireland Inc. has a problem with Trump, but Ireland Inc. has an even bigger problem with everybody finding out what is really goin on here here.
