Super imposing a swastika on a Jewish politician's forehead!

It's obvious good old fashioned anti antisemitism is still very much to the fore of left wing politics.

Well, actually now that you mention it the BLP (British Labour Party) is rife with anti-Semitism.

And then there is the fact that Linda Sarsour is a politician with aspirations beyond her ability, and endorsments greater than her credibility in the US Democratic Party.

Don't be such a foooking twat, that ************************er Miller is a trash talking whitenationalist, nazi freak show, his Jewish descent family have largely disowned him for his racist views, he's badly due a slap.

How does trashing the Iran deal fit into these calculations? Nearly all of us enter contracts we later regret but the more we renege on such arrangements the less credibility we have.

On why North Korea will never surrender its nuclear weapons:

  1. Kim Jong Un wanted nuclear weapons for several reasons, but the main one was to make sure North Korea didn’t end up like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.
  2. Now that he’s got them, he feels like he can start to make deals without worrying about being on the business end of American regime change.
  3. This means that he might well be willing to enter into substantive talks. But he will never give up his nukes.
  4. Also: he will never give up his nukes.
  5. And: he will never give up his nukes.

The question is whether
(1) the US and South Korea accept that and move forward or
(2) continue their sanctions war until
  • (2a) they finally get tired of it or
  • (2b) North Korea becomes a wasteland of famine and revolt.

Kevin Drum thinks (2a). And it may not be a question of whether America gives up sanctions, but whether China does. North Korea starved two or three of its generations to gain a nuclear capability, it is hardly going to surrender it within a few weeks. Apparently, that is what we are given to expect.
