Trump's public lying rate has increased from 4.9 lies per day in his first hundred days and has now crept up to 9 per day. This is not normal.

His lawyers are rightly scared about him talking to Mueller, as well... he'll tell whoppers
WaPo - President Trump has made 3,001 false or misleading claims so far
In the 466 days since he took the oath of office, President Trump has made 3,001 false or misleading claims, according to The Fact Checker’s database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president.
Trump has a long and rich history of lying, mostly self serving conman stuff

What effect has Trump's increasing rate of lies on America ?

Will a day of reckoning come ?

The fact they we are even asking whether it matters tells us you have been primed not to care that much :D

Country seems to be doing quite well under him.

I think he has surprised us all.

Keep up the good work.

And people wonder why so called journalists rate lower than politicians.

“Seventy two times President Trump said he passed the largest tax cut in history”

“Thirty four times the President asserted the wall would stop the drug trade”

Reads like leprechaun computations.

The GOP trashed the nice car Clinton handed them. The Dems rebuilt it and handed Trump a nice one.

Yet again, they've chosen to run a credit card economy of lower taxes for the wealthy with a bloated budget and reckless deregulation that will leave the place fiscally effed up again down the road along with other dysfunctions due to misallocating resources in Robber Baron style and creating the next eventual waves of business bubbles, scandals and crashes with further deteriorating infrastructure, health care, schools, etc.

That's all your witnessing.

WP has a long and proud past and has multiple awards, Bezos hasn't destroyed it yet and print media are all fading and failing.ayne the Washington Times would be more to your taste.

Trump is a bigoted, racist, sexist ************************e of hot air and bombastic false bravado:mad:. Having said all that, he prevented Hilary the warmonger from gaining office and stands an impeachment, or, fatal heart attack, away from giving us the ultimate nightmare of a Mike Spence presidency.:shock2:

Much more concerned about the lies being peddled by PANDA.

We don't want their useless/expensive water catcher Brown bins.

Some of the lies are well within the "you couldn't make this up" zone at this stage.
His former physician is now explaining his version of how the weird & infamous 2015 doctor's note attesting to Trump's "excellent health" came to be written. Of course, Trump's apologists will immediately leap on the fact that his new explanation is a reversal of what he said in 2016, but it is hard to conclude anything other than that he was either coerced or bribed to write stuff that no doctor with any integrity would do and hope to retain any respect among his peers. The text of the 2015 letter is actually comical in its level of hyperbole and has all the hallmarks of something dictated by Trump himself, which is what is now claimed.
The letter said Trump had shed 15lb in the prior 12 months, said “his cardiovascular status is excellent” and concluded: “If elected, Mr Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
What sort of physician would ever freely make such an obviously false claim? More to the point, what sort of presidential candidate would ever then go on to use such a fraudulent production as "evidence", without realising that it just made him look so absurd? :p

The next election. American voters tend to swing pendulum like between presidential characters. E.g. Carter (workaholic policy wonk) to Reagan (laissez faire, not into the detail); Dubya Bush (shoot from the hip, simplistic good v evil) to Obama (thoughtful, consultative to a fault).

So a brash liar who sneers at legal process should make way for a believer in truth, justice and the American way.

That statements applies to the entire content of the political establishment.

And it is even more relevant in Ireland, than it is in the US.

Thanks !!

I think that is Trump's ultimate crime.

The veneer liberals want more power, and more war.

The only time Caliphate News Network (how many shares do the Saudis own ?) likes Trump is when he is clueless firing missiles into rivals of the Saudi caliphate.

It's going to be a big swing...only one man for it.

Ah, so the new platform for the next great leader should be "I lie better than him/her."

However, that trend seems more often than not to only fall into place after two terms.
