The flaketwatters are at it again, Devine tweets...

Sinn Féin has suspended a senator who shared an offensive tweet about a prison officer murdered by the IRA.

Máire Devine retweeted a tweet calling Brian Stack, who was shot in the back of the neck in 1983, a "sadist".

Sinn Féin chairman Declan Kearney said Ms Devine had been suspended from the party for three months for "unacceptable twitter activity".

"There can be no excuse for the hurt and offence which has been caused to the Stack family," he added.

Speaking after making a report to the Sinn Féin's ruling council, Mr Kearney said: "This is unacceptable behaviour from a Sinn Féin elected representative."

Come on down marty millions...

An attempt by a Sinn Fein MLA to link Michael Stone's murderous attack on a funeral in west Belfast with the RUC has been slammed as "ridiculous" and "offensive".

Mairtin O Muilleoir made the claim in a tweet as he attended a memorial event for Thomas McErlean, who was killed by Stone during the 1988 attack at Milltown Cemetery.

The South Belfast MLA posted a photograph of Sinn Fein's Fra McCann addressing a commemoration in honour of McErlean.

Mr O Muilleoir tweeted: "Thomas, who was just 20, died protecting mourners from the RUC-UDA attack on the funerals of the Gibraltar Three on 16 March 2018. A plaque was unveiled at his home today."

The tweet was greeted with incredulity, with a number of Twitter users expressing their disbelief.

Former RUC Assistant Chief Constable Alan McQuillan slammed the tweet as "yet another attempt to rewrite history".

Easiest thing in the world for the IRA to do is claim a prison officer they murdered was a sadistic brute who terrorized them in their excrement covered cells and stuck pine cones up their backsides, of course its the usual pack of lies, all the Irish are very good at lying I think they learn it in church, probably when they're sitting on the priests knee...Or bending over...

They tell lies to suit their narrative. Last night they were trying to convince people that rhe RUC stopped policing their paramilitary funerals so Michael Stone could attack them. Wouldn't they have not been happy if the RUC DID police the funeral?

Except the only people who have ever been tortured and murdered at a funeral were British soldiers and the torturers and murderers were the usual IRA filth. Not surprising Shinners don't choose to publicly remember that or to condemn the murderers. Disgusting abuse of the truth but only to be expected from the like of Martin Miller et al

If you read the post I was responding to, you will note that Pippakin was claiming that only Republicans murdered people at funerals.

But, seeing as we're on the subject of Michael Stone "acting alone":

Where did Michael Stone get the weapons he used?

Who brought those weapons into NI?

Who let Michael Stone know about the hugely reduced police presence?

Who delivered Michael Stone to Milltown?

Who was waiting to bring him away again?

Yes I see that now. He acted alone in attacking the funeral himself. That's not in disrepute.

Weapons wouldn't of been hard to come by during the troubles.

Who brought them into NI? Your guess is as good as mine as to the origin. Although you will undoubtedly point subjectively your finger at something or someone.

Who let michael know about the reduced police presence is unknown. It could of been word had slipped out that there was to be a reduced police presence at Republican funerals. That may well have been common knowledge amongst police circles, from there it would of became common knowledge.

That was what you wanted wasn't it? That was the result of the funeral NOT being policed. Oh how you need us when it's for your own benefiting.

ASFAIK he got the bus. I don't know who was waiting to take him away.

Mairtin O'Muilleoir has really made a tit out of himself this last while. "New Belfast" he calls himself on Twitter. The only finance minister without a budget, Barry McElduff cheerleader, and now this silly stuff with a non-credible defense of the indefensible. What an idiot
