unelected man says unelected man running the country is doing so in our best interest and another unelected man complains about on P.ie

Sorry just couldn't resist it :)

Dan Boyle is a twit, and always has been. He seems to think that because he was appointed to the senate it gives him the same form of mandate as an elected representative.

I generally abhor crime, but I do wish someone would steal his i-phone so we aren't subjected to any more of his tweets.

I know they are both of similar shape, and cup size but danboyle and Brian Cowen are not the same person.
Are we fully sure about this, have we ever seen the two of them together?

Brian Cowen elected as Taoiseach by Dail Eireann
Brian Cowen never ran this country. He set the scene when he headed off to Clara for a victory party the day he replaced Bertie, and announced that "here was the greatest county councillor of all time". His lack of leadership is probably the single biggest contributor to the country's woes at present, because whereas the newly elected UK government has already made huge progress after 6 months in office, ours has had 3 years to solve the problem and now needs the EU to come in to sort out their mess.

Brian Cowen is a pathetic buffoon.

Dan Boyle just tweeted that his cup size is larger. Seemingly he used an organic supplement to increase it.

It has come to my attention that some have lately called me a collaborator, as if such a term were shameful.

I ask you, what greater endeavor exists than that of collaboration?
In our current unparalleled enterprise, refusal to collaborate is simply a refusal to grow--an insistence on suicide, if you will.

Did the lungfish refuse to breathe air? It did not. It crept forth boldly while its brethren remained in the blackest ocean abyss, with lidless eyes forever staring at the dark, ignorant and doomed despite their eternal vigilance. Would we model ourselves on the trilobite?

Are all the accomplishments of humanity fated to be nothing more than a layer of broken plastic shards thinly strewn across a fossil bed, sandwiched between the Burgess shale and an eon's worth of mud?

In order to be true to our nature, and our destiny, we must aspire to greater things. We have outgrown our cradle. It is futile to cry for mother's milk, when our true sustenance awaits us among the stars.

And only the universal union that small minds call 'The Combine' can carry us there.

Therefore I say, yes, I am a collaborator. We must all collaborate, willingly, eagerly, if we expect to reap the benefits of unification.
And reap we shall.

and do you recall him telling media to move aside, and singing off the back of a lorry in Clara, "Ber Cowen he is a TD me boys, Ber Cowen he is a TD and an undertaker too ",and the people cheered. I am sure he must have known what was going on in Anglo and banks at that stage. Maybe we deserve what we get.
