The wise heads who welcomed Erdogans saving of democracy from the coup deserve another round of applause.

The latest news is that it looks like execution will be brought back to Turkey since an opposition party has decided it agrees with the Fascists of the AKP and decided electrocuting or shooting people sounds awesome. Not content with shooting kurds in the streets or putting women in their rightful place the AKP wants to start filling graves. With 110000 enemies of democracy they have so much options to start with. Maybe they could shoot some of the employees of the all female Kurdish media outlet they just shut down. It must have been doubly sickening for the AKP, women and Kurds who didn't know their place. Definitely deserve execution.

Sieg heil democracy. Are we allowed to call Turkey a Fascist state yet because it's getting a bit late in the day to keep pretending it's the home of the brave. Hope their imperial adventures in Syria and Turkey are going well.

Do they have the right to choose their own path even if that's imperialist fascism?

Do we have the right to point out they are ethno fascists building a skylord fearing paradise?

If Turkey is fuked then women and Kurds are doubly ************************************ in the pure and dignified Turkey thats building a god fearing country of pregnant women in kitchens and men running around shooting people in South East Turkey, Syria and Iraq.

The Brits must think they don't need any goodwill from the EU in these tedious negotiations that are looming. If Turkey got in, I'd be advocating for Paddybegone/Irxit/Eirout.

Wasnt there a referendum in Holland recently that vetoed Turkish entry?
Why is this topic even being discussed?
Yet another referendum ignored by Brussels?

It ain't gonna happen. Turkey in the EU means no more 'Europe'.

Maybe it's all part of a devlish British plot to be used as a bargaining chip during the Brexit negotiation.
The entire shabang brings a bit of clarity into the Ukraine thingie. How could the EU accept the Ukraine but yet keep Turkey out.
Not only is accepting the Ukraine a monumental task on account of the poverty and the endemic corruption there, accepting both Turkey and the Ukraine... well that really would be time for Ireland to rush for the door. Germany will be a semi-Islamic state (as will France, Sweden, Holland and a few others) by that stage.

Thankfully the insanity of the dictator erdogan has put to bed any notion of this country getting anywhere the EU, no Islamic state must ever be allowed to join, there's plenty of other Muslim states to form a union with, they have far more in common with them, just keep them the hell away from Europe.

They will have Visa Free travel which amounts to the same thing, which has the added bonus from their point of view, of a pressure release valve, for any malcontents who want to get out.

If that is the case, expect more refugees, across the Turkish border, the EU is playing with a very weak hand.
