What sort of classless, tacky, vulgar, tasteless imbecile would deem this repulsive sight "beautiful"?

I guess this type.

....and these types of similar scumbag demagogues in his media and government circle, e.g.,

WASHINGTON — Republican U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz clashed with a father who lost his son in the Parkland school shooting as emotions ran high during a congressional hearing on gun violence Wednesday.

Gaetz drew shouts from Parkland dad Manuel Oliver when he said expanding background checks for gun sales would do nothing to stop murders committed by people who are in the country illegally. A wall on the southern border would, Gaetz said.

He was cut off by shouts and grumbles from the audience, but one voice in particular rose above the rest: That of Manuel Oliver, father of Joaquin Oliver, who was killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, 2018. He sat next to Fred Guttenberg, whose daughter Jaime was also killed in the shooting, as they aired their displeasure at Gaetz’s comments.

“Manny stood up and said, ‘That’s a lie. That’s not true,’ and I yelled out that our children were killed by an American male,” Guttenberg told HuffPost. “Mr. Gaetz didn’t care for the truth and made an inquiry to see if we could be kicked out.”

In a fit of frustration, Gaetz pointed his finger directly at Oliver as he inquired whether House Judiciary Chair Jarrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) could eject him from the hearing.

Coulter is all too familiar, but Gaetz is a young 'rising star' on the scumbag list.

Gaetz is the son of a shady and highly connected Florida GOP politician power broker. Matt's father wormed him into elected office as his first real job by arranging the malicious prosecution of a local GOP politician through a corrupt prosecutor. After he resigned, the prosecutor was indicted and the charges were dropped.

A notorious vehicle code violator, Matt's father also used his connections to squash seven (7) of Matt's drink driving arrests with only one going to prosecution. Regarding the arrest that proceeded to prosecution, the case was dismissed due to the officer being suspiciously fired and other sabotage, and his refusal to submit to a blood alcohol test that automatically triggers a driving licence suspension process was never issued.

Matt's college roommate was found dead in their dorm room under suspicious circumstances but no follow ups occurred.

He's a well-reputed 'closet case' bisexual or gay man despite pretending to be an anti-LGBT Bible Thumper, including a well-reputed gay tryst with a local Evangelical megachurch pastor, another reputed 'closet case'.

Its well known that the Mexican drug cartels are a crucial element in the trafficking of Central Americans in to the US. At El Chapo's trial a few days ago, an informer claimed (even CNN reported this) that El Chapo had paid a $100 million bribe to the former Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto. Comes as 1000 members of a new caravan have entered Mexico unhindered.

Did s ex-president $100 million?
HSBC (US)was fined in the last few years for laundering money for the cartels. HSBC is not a Mexican bank.

'U.S. prosecutors in 2012 said that in February 2008, Mexican authorities told the CEO of HSBC’s Mexico unit that a local drug lord referred to the bank as the “place to launder money”.

Lax money laundering controls at HSBC allowed two cartels - one each in Mexico and Colombia - to move $881 million in drug proceeds through the bank over the second half of the last decade, according to documents in the case.'

And you can be pretty sure the Natives wished they had a border wall in place when Columbus washed ashore.
Well, in a way they did get a wall. Around reservations on land the immigrants didn't want. Until oil was discovered under it. Then the wall was moved.

Plus ca change plus ca meme chose.

Actually that would be really funny. If the wall was built and then large reserves of oil were found on the Mexican side. You'd suddenly have Americans digging tunnels under the wall for a change.

Washington wouldn't be long trying to move the wall back a bit. To somewhere just north of Mexico City.

What a feckin' toxic fraud this person is in every respect.

There was a pipeline of workers who illegally crossed the U.S. border from Costa Rica and ended up with jobs at President Donald Trump’s New Jersey golf courses, according to a report in the Washington Post.

The newspaper spoke to 16 men and women from Costa Rica and other Latin American counties, including six from the same town on Costa Rica’s tallest mountain, who said they had worked at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, the report said. Most said they used fake Social Security cards and working papers they purchased in Bound Brook and neighboring towns, but their supervisors were aware of their illegal status.

“Many of us helped him get what he has today,” Dario Angulo, who said he spent seven years as a groundskeeper at Trump National, told the Ppst. “This golf course was built by illegals.”

Angulo has returned to Costa Rica and now lives in a house he built with “Trump money," the report said.

Polls vary, but it puts the truth to the current problem IMO:

“Facts don’t work” for winning votes, according to the multimillionaire co-founder of the Leave.EU campaign.

Prominent Ukip donor Arron Banks admitted financing an “American-style” referendum campaign, referencing controversial Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump as an influence.
. . .
Talking to the Guardian about the referendum campaign, Mr Banks said: “It was taking an American-style media approach.

“The remain campaign featured fact, fact, fact, fact, fact. It just doesn’t work. You have got to connect with people emotionally. It’s the Trump success.”

The prime emotional connection Leave.EU made with voters is widely accepted to have been on the issue of immigration.

Arron Banks himself is an ethically devoid liar and thief, sleazy Robber Baron, and launderer of Russian oligarch money (even married to the daughter of a Russian state official) and is under Mueller's microscope like Farage and other treacherous UKIP types, e.g.,

Unbridled and stoked fear of 'the other'...always a powerful tool of the demagogue and so often an emotion that leads to injustice.....as a gay person, you should know that. How many boys have you lured into a vehicle to molest and murder? Attacked in a public shower or bathroom? Lured in a public park? After all, it's not just the words of the godly preachers, the government said that's in your nature, right?

False dilemma...such offenders have already been red flagged and enforced since 1996 under a law advocated and signed by Bill Clinton for highest priority for deportation and inadmissibility.

The debate is over smarter border enforcement, not whether to enforce. For example, what are better ways to monitor and enforce the Irish internal border post-Brexit regarding new immigration and trade rules, smuggling and possible dissident violence or just built a Great Wall of Arlene along the border.
