A van has ploughed into crowds in Barcelona's Ramblas tourist area.
Spanish police say several people have been injured in a "massive crash", while emergency services are urging people to stay away from the area around Plaça Catalunya.
Reports from the scene say people are taking cover in nearby shops and cafes.

Some reports saying the driver ran away.
Hopefully they will be caught quickly.

Hasn't there been a lot of aggro there lately with a local Spanish group telling Tourists they are not welcome and to go home. Not saying this has anything to do with that but Barcelona getting a bad rap these days.

I was saying that here, is this actually related to that, as opposed to the usual?

we just had a family holiday near Barcelona, thought NE Spain would be chill. So that's Spain off the list. Only Portugal and Croatia left so

Did a quick google on this to see the breaking news. Interesting how the different outlets frame the event:

The spectrum from "liberal" (denier) to "right-wing" (bringer of unpleasant truths) is plain to see.

The IT tells us it was a "crash". Could have been texting, you know?!
The British Independent calls it an "attack".
The Express explains the motivation, calling it "terror".

The fact that the driver ran away suggests to me it was an attack.
The fact that it was outside a Kosher place suggests to me it was terror.

But the lamestream liberals will suppress this reading until they have no choice but to report the truth. And their groupies on this site will do the same. This is why they have no credibility.

I have heard recently that Radical Left have been attacking tourists in Spain. Is it linked to that?
