Post 5634 reads and I quote,

"FF are well ahead of poor SF in the 26!
Why?
That'll do for now,
Thanks."

Are you ok?
Yep - it’s your post, and contains my post, quoted. It’s part of your post therefore. The reason I mentioned the post number was exactly to bring you out like this.
So now that we have clarified that, maybe you’ll be able to answer my question, which you quoted in post.
Mise le meas
Thanks
No shame
etc.

Another success for Gimp Varadkar.....standing up in Dail Eireann and accusuing the contractors on site at the children's hospital of 'low balling' the HSE.
That's going to help, isn't it?
Help ensure that the price will rise again and ensure more delays as the contractor goes over every single decision with a fine tooth comb....

What a mouthy dope the FFG leader truly is.....

Still talking thru your hoop ,Edward.
Two road projects in Kerry, the Cork Port move and the Cork events centre.

Now the Childrens Hospital.

No pattern to this at all.

It's looking like Varadkar's time as Taoiseach will end the same way as his various roles as minister - loads of spin but really nothing to show for his time there.

This article sums it up nicely -

It is quite clear by now that the experiment in “new politics” has been a failure. Dáil debates have become a joke with TDs passing mounds of badly thought out and incoherent Bills that will never become law.
Current Dáil tottering toward demise as 'new politics’ fails

Basically fear of Brexit and fear of change is all that's keeping the non-government in place.

Its an interesting article, but it has got very little to with Varadkar, more about government by parliament being ineffective and that we will need a coalition of some sort after the next election and that new politics has run its course.

But I would agree with your Brexit point. If it gets sorted or delayed for a year or so , then we'd have an election very quickly.

Unfortunately, FF has got Mehole Martin, FG's crony as leader. He's always willing to do whatever FG wants. DeValera and the rest would not be pleased.

MeHole is the last of the bad old Bertie days when hanging on to ones bit of power overrides everything else.

FF also has O'Dea, Hannafin and bunch of others from that era. The incompetence of FG is why FF won so many seats at the last GE. Varadkar is very much a creation of the Dublin media. FG grassroots wanted Coveney as leader but the click happy parliamentary part of FG wanted their Social Media friendly pal as leader. It may end up costing some of them their seats at the upcoming election when the Capitulation and Servitude agreement breaks down and Mehole Martin gets it in the neck from the FFers who still remember that they are in Fianna Fail and not Fine Gael.

"Sinn Fein's values are toxic. We've seen that in their culture of bullying, their aggression in the Dáil and when the mask slips.
They don't respect our courts, they don't respect our Gardaí, they don't respect the Parliaments they're elected to including the ones they turn up for. At some point between now and 2021 there will be a general election and i can tell you tonight under no circumstances will Fine Gael enter into coalition with Sinn Fein"
