Having just returned from a family event close to Kildare Village Shopping and Outlet Centre outside Kildare Town on the M7, I saw something which absolutely compelled me to share it with the brethern and sestern of P.ie.

Said shopping Centre was in the throes of celebrating the Chinese New Year, and had laid on some Chinese style street theatre to publicise this.

The keen eyed among you will establish straight away that all the entertainers are in fact White and most are in fact Irish! Not one of them was Chinese nor were they descended from the Chinese in any way!

Personally, I don't care what their skin tones are, but it seems very odd!

I have decided it will be of interest to travel to and frequent Kildare Village and carry out headcounts and report to P.ie.

Kildare Village is a monument to a sacred cow - conspicious consumption, and the instructed assumption that if your item of clothing has a particular name on it, that you are the worthy source of much envy.

It is a sacred cow, because while some on the internet might ridicule the "affluenza" drug of conspicious consumption, the media is "bought and paid for" all the way.

Therefore, don't expect your criticism to go far beyond the internet.

This is the essence of Kildare Village.

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to by things they don't need to impress people they don't like
Will Rogers

Eh...is this the year of the Sacred Cow ?

White ones must be!
No they are all Orange in Ards. I did not know there were so many good-looking men in Kildare. I will make an effort to promote a cultural exchange with them the next time I visit.

Great! Maybe we can arrange to visit at the same time and compare head counts at the end of the day and write a joint OP.

Look - if you want to engage in racial stereotyping I cant stop you

But if your seriously suggesting that those who don't look their Chinese,

- don't talk like the Chinese

- and don't walk like they are Chinese

- cannot be considered Chinese

Then you need an intense dose of Cultural Diversity Programming .....

You speak with the practiced facility and authority of the already graduated. Do you recommend it?
