Tonight’s show is a kind of a follower-upper to that of last Monday night:
http://www.politics.ie/forum/backstage/209706-vinb-mon-22-4-2013-abortion.html
Which also has many links in its OP.

Today, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said he does not intend to have another referendum on abortion rights - the Government set out its formal decision on the issue in December, and its intention to deal with the ABC case [a challenge by three women to Ireland's abortion laws at the European Court of Human Rights] with legislation and regulations.

He said:
the law on abortion is not being changed, but is being codified. The law when clarified will deal strictly with the Constitution and stay within the existing law. It will deal with the X Case and will do so without bringing any new rights here. It is a complex matter and one that requires sensitivity and understanding.
And in another development, Lucinda Creighton tells Olivia O’Leary to get a grip over the abortion issue.

Good panel tonight for what should be an excellent debate … Oh! that is, if you’re not sick to your back teeth about the abortion issue…

Great op norm.

Can't take more of these shouting matches.

Patricia casey annoys me as well so I'll give it a miss.

You kids behave, you hear me.

I am sick to death of it. However, the potential to fracture and dissolve the government makes it an interesting topic, so no surprise on it being highlighted just to put the knife deeper into the divide.

At this stage, people will be hoping that there are more JML adverts to watch than the #vinb show. This show is going the way of most of Vinnie's publications.

Fair play, spidermom. You win tonight's prize for finding the deliberate error in the OP.

OOOOOOOOOOps. Op amended now ...
Honest to God. Norman gives us a great insight into this show, what, 4 nights a week. Lets us know if it's going to be about bloody Public Sector workers and the never-ending Croke Park Non-Agreement which immediately sends me off to bed to lose myself in another world entirely (dem are called bukes) or like tonight, to sit and froth at the mouth at those who assume that the whole of Ireland is peopled by rabid Roman Catholics when it's not, and of course those men who are terrified of women and any power we manage to wrest from McQuaid's Constitution. So an error is allowed. It just makes me love Norm more. I love you Norman Bates.

Veronica O'Keane & Cora Sherlock had a right go at each other on Late Debate yesterday, round 2 on here tonight no doubt.

Who would you like to see replace the current shambles and if it happened, how long do you reckon they'd last?
