What's Happening?

Big discussion tonight on the future of child benefit in Ireland. A recent 3rd party report suggested big cuts which would save €200 million. This is seriously something to look at but is politically toxic. Should be an interesting show for definite. Could it become another children's shoes scandal?

Update on Norm

It's been a long 48 hours for old russer. I met up with Norm in an insular ex-Soviet Republic in the Caucasus. I handed over the vital info I received to Norm which would guide his mission. The mission is to stop a crazy scientist in the region before he succesfully creates a cloning machine. All that is known is the Scientist's name begins with 'N'..
I flew back into Dublin this morning but Astral had been following Norm's progress as well as starting last nights #VinB thread. Norm has teamed up with ex-Piester Kimora for the mission (mostly to carry Norm's stuff). This very hour, news has come back to the home base that Norm has reached the secret hideout of the scientist. What will happen next? Tune in tomorrow!
to be continued....

What Else is on?

If the show turns out to be a snoozefest, why not watch Goldfinger @ 22:25 on Sky Movies Modern Greats! Goldfinger (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Given the subject matter, allied to that dreary, unbalanced panel, is there even a snowball in hell's chance that it won't?

Just some music as a time filler until the show starts.

Kieran Allen - FFS Vincent loves having the trotskyites on. The guy is such a humorless predictable windbag. There are only about 30 trots in the whole country yet Vincent seems to always find one of them to turn up on his show.

As a starter, I'd say Newsnight could be good for a laugh,

I'm only guessing, but I'd say they'll be covering the 4G sale, which netted £1.2bn less than Osboune predicted,

Not a big deal on its own, but Osbourse put that £1.2 bn into his figures in order to make his borrowing targets, before the auction had even happened,

He got a lot of flak for doing it, but he just said, don't worry, we'll get it, no probs,

And now they haven't, so it looks like he was cookin the books, which he was,

So now someone is gonna have to face a grilling, from Paxo I hope,

I wonder what twit will draw the short straw,

Should be funny:)

Last night's splenetic rants from Vinny is why he is stuck with these Z grade panels.

I wonder why Kieran O'Donnell agrees to come on so often, short straw or closet masochist?

It's this governments political death warrant.
Indeed. "My mates in Malahide are happy to pay the property tax".

Of course they are, they're happy to pay 500 quid property tax than pay more tax based on their huge incomes.

Typical tory boy w@nker.
