VB to Reuters person - Is there a perception that Ireland can get out of this?

RP - It depends on who you ask but increasingly no.

It would be better default now, rather than 2 years time, 3% would be enough to pay,
Morgan Kelly said 2% is all we can afford to pay,

Tip of the iceberg
Do you know why, Germany and France are so desperate that we sign on the dotted line and accept the bailout, they are acutely aware of Brian Cowens position, he has a very narrow majority, and too harsh of a budget, and they know it will not pass.

The goverment didn't tackle the Old Age Pensions.
Didn't tackle croke park.
Didn't really tackle property tax.

The Germans went abit easy on us, so the budget can pass, and then we will get our first installment of cheques in the post, that is the tip of the ice-berg, the following years will be hell, because where is the growth going to come from, and secondly we have taken the Germans money.

Is VB always talking to people, who profit to speculate your people down? This Sommerville is quite a good example, nothing to say but a lot to speak of. Two weeks ago he was very annoyed of Merkel that irish bonds could default, now he is saying that this is a proposition to freak the IMF/EU/German empire out, has this guy a brain? Not being in power doesn't mean you're smarter.
