How many of those candidates are members of the opposition with no connections to the ruling party can you answer me that.
There is no ruling party.

You can't even read Wikipedia links, pretty awful. There is no ruling/opposition party. There is a national assembly which has people elected to it from all over the country with a trade union, feminist, etc quota of members.

It is not determined on the basis of political parties.

And all under control of the CP like in China and NK, and every other dictatorship, try to organise a public assembly which speaks against the government and see where that gets you.

Another reason why Cuba is vigilant.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/apr/03/us-cuban-twitter-zunzuneo-stir-unrest

The US is literally day in day out plotting overthrow and regime change because everything is communally owned in Cuba and not privately owned by US corporations or the Cuban bourgeois.

Why is it that capitalist countries always seem to win out ?
Why are communist countries so permanently fragile ?
Even the most fragile capitalist country (e.g. Greece) is infinitely stronger than Cuba or Venezuela.

Exactly its a failed system which only the most completely moronic in society have any faith in.

2018? This information is widely available, or are you suggesting Cuba doesn't have elections?

For people with access to the internet, the amount of stupid posts on politics.ie is overwhelming.

Cuba has a better participatory and representative system than Ireland.
What will be the result.? Did the Castro's get back in.?

Cuba is so full of freedom that boat loads of them leave to live under the evil imperialism of the US so they can be happy and oppressed.

Cuba has been under economic embargo and China has the second/if not the strongest economy in the world?

Raul is not running in the next election, perhaps you should follow up on CUban news before commenting?

Its an economic system as well as an ideology so you're the moron.
Not really.

It is merely the forced oppression of all individual rights and freedoms, including economic ones, to chose what you want to buy, how much you want to be paid etc.
