Well lookit Mr. Law & Order all of a sudden, what happened to "persuading" 'em they really didn't want to come in to your boss' niteclub after all?petuniaCorrect me if im wrong but what part of been peaceful is throwing objects at the car.
The cops did feck all wrong except bait some of the tracksuit wearing scumbags out of the way.
What exactly is an "austerity tax"? And what's all this about the "working class"? Do the Trots only look after one section of the populace and ignore the middle classes? The establishment still do not get the depth of anger and determination of working class people in this country to resist the imposition of water charges and those responsible for imposing this austerity tax will not get a free ride to go around to photo ops.
I'm Mr Law and Order 24/7. I know a bunch of toerags when I see some ,especially when some of them are throwing objects at and elected officials car.Well lookit Mr. Law & Order all of a sudden, what happened to "persuading" 'em they really didn't want to come in to your boss' niteclub after all?petunia
The glaring difference is that the farmers would know the meat factory workers and were respectful towards them. Their issue is with price and that issue has been negotiated to a solution. We don't even know yet what the water charges will be but that won't stop scumbags jumping on the protest bandwagon and ill-informed keyboard warriors from cheering them gleefully on as they look at someone they perceive as 'better-off' being intimidated and threatened.10,000 factory workers were locked out by a farmers blockade.
It cost the meat factories 30 million.
That was illegal but AGS dis nothing. The peope here who whinge about the actions of water charge protesters were silent about the farmers.
Joan is a big girl and is used to horse play.
She has pushed people too far. Its time for her to defend the interests of ordinary peopl.
I'm in favour of water charges but it's starting to look impossible in their current form. Most people will accept the scheme as described in the Irish Times today - that's the reality. Joan has played a blinder over water charges ...
There was a negotiation going on and one would assume people behaving properly in that scenario.Have to agree with you with that about the farmers getting a pass when blockading places, on that I like the French CRS approach.
