120 jobs go as Whelan group wound up | Irish Examiner

Deficit as a going concern €10 million.

Deficit in a liquidation €50 million

All the creditors get wiped out and unlikely to get a cent.

Anglo hopefully paperwork is correct and they are a secured creditors will get the vast amount of the debt back.

A lot of these creditors wont be able to afford the "hit". 120 jobs lost also.

Revenue were neutral. Surely they should not have let the debt get so high. €600,000 + gone :(

An SME owner I know was threatened with the sheriff if he didn`t pay interest of €60 within 10 days. The €60 arose because he was two weeks late with submitting a return :(

Well done again NAMA.

How much did Seanie steal, I mean borrow in loans again from Anglo?

How much did Drum steal, I mean borrow in loans?

How much did Anglo give to the Anglo 10?

They are willing to write off the loans to directors and the Anglo 10. But when it comes to writing off loans that might save 120 jobs, they pursue the company to the ends of the earth.

Well said. And dont forget the €2,800 million the richest man in Ireland hasn`t repaid and has been written off in Anglo`s books.

You & I and the SME owner need to fill that hole.

Save Sean Quinn, the richest man in Ireland :( :(

Now you know why he was the richest. If we all got to wrote off our debts we would all be rich !!!!!
