The IMF have been mentioned an awful lot in the last few weeks.
Is there a Fianna Fail scorched earth policy at play?

No: they will let the default go ahead under the other crowd then try and oppose IMF imposed cuts and attacks in a cynical bid to get re-elected in the next 5-10 years.

Our bonds are not at 'junk status'. Some people around here seem to be enjoying, even getting great pleasure out of Irelands economic crisis.

Borrowing at 7%; lending to Greece at 5%. And they call those who called for proper taxes during the bubble "economic illiterates"!

Will there be terrorist groups created out of the loss of Irish sovereignty?

It should be curtains in any other country, but in Ireland we will just keep paying.

The cost of the Anglo Bailout has now added 3% minium to our borrowing costs.

Well done Seanie, FF developers, regulator and Cowen/Ahern, take a bow.

think of it as a medical diagnosis CS:

"well Mr Ireland, your lifestyle choices over the last 15 years have been unhealthy to say the least. You can either continue going the way you are in which case you'll be dead within 2 years or else you can have radical surgery which will leave you disfigured but will give you a chance of long-term survival. Your call"
