So, FG now likely to have their bluff called and Leo the petulant not likely to back down, so GE 2017 a probability.

8 years ago FF looked completely un-electable ever again, but FG's incompetence and knife twisting has already made them the king makers if not the king.

FG have been toxic in housing, health and justice over 6 years of running roughshod over the 70% of the population who work and pay taxes.

Labour - well, they used to be a party and now they're, eh, well I don't really know what they are.

And SF used to be pariahs but now looking like they'll have a Dublin/female/non-combatant leader and are ready to do business for the first time.

And finally there's the "rest"...a bunch of parasites and idealists - all with a single "big idea".

So - how does a vote in GE 2017 go anyway to fixing the prpblems of the country:

  • accountability in public representation and public service
  • real justice across the board
  • a proper social housing strategy, including addressing the wasters
  • making a positive out of Brexit as opposed to a threat
  • others

Thoughts anyone - the vote you cast in late 2017 may well be THE most important vote you ever cast.

The theme of this election should be the wisdom of the New Politics. Let it not be forgotten that the events concerned mostly happened when there was a majority govt. FG needs to be further reined in, by maintaining them in a minority or even Opposition status. A vote for Indos or anti Establishment parties who can wield influence from the outside is best.

Maybe if you posted a little more objectively one could have a reasonable discussion.
