Left wing: I believe in State intervention to redistribute wealth i.e. subsidized home ownership, upskilling etc.

Right wing: Immigrants must integrate or leave and it is up to us to decide how many and what type of immigrant we want.

Well I believe that a large majority of production and distribution should be socialized/nationalized which would define me as being Hard Left over all, however I do have various opinions which could I guess be considered Hard Right, the one that is generally considered most extreme would be my desire to re-introduce Witchcraft laws with the maximum penalty for breaking them being execution. The thing is that if you examine the below even if you completely deny the preternatural you will see that such a concept isn't a crazy as you probably first thought;

Left wing: universal basic income

'Right wing': although I sympathise in many ways, I think that Travellers are the authors of some of their own misfortunes.

I think everyone should be forced to run through wheatfields when they're young - on a compulsory basis.

I'm not sure whether that's a left wing or a right wing opinion, though.

Like this guy.

Horst Mahler (born 23 January 1936) is a German former lawyer and political activist.[1] He once was an extreme-left militant and a founding member of the Red Army Faction but later became a Maoist before switching to neo-Nazism.

I mean where do ye think ye are going with this sh*te - why not go the whole hog and talk about Mussolini being a communist (which he was before WW1)

People across the entire political spectrum can swap and switch sides, and have done for millennia - Barroso was a Maoist before becoming head of the imperialist adventure that is the EU. Picking out the odd nut-job does not equate to political trajectory of anything.

As for the OP

Left-wing - the overthrow of capitalism and the establishment of a democratically planned socialised economy.

Right-wing - none.

Do you believe you, personally, should be able to choose where you work, and under what terms you work?

Identifying issues as 'left' or 'right' is part of our problem right now. For some reason unknown to me, right-wingers have decided that action on climate change is 'left' and that denial is 'right' and act accordingly. Of course the mountains of research on global warming are neither left nor right but simply fact.

I believe that I should have the option of working in a occupation that I am capable of and trained for - in an environment of mutual respect and cooperation - and that I should receive a living wage for doing so.

The workers should control the means of production and distribution.

Left-wing: a lot of women do actually look better in trousers than skirts.

Right-wing: keep your hair cut and styled.

So how does your system deal with lazy and feckless incompetents and how does it reward really brilliant workers?

In the latter case, those who work harder and smarter and are way more productive. (Assumes said productivity is in the general interest of society).

Apart from making waves (marxist views) and former wesleyan (psychopath), everyone else seems to be a national socialist.
That's settled then.

But you should be able to determine what you believe is a living wage? And you should be free to seek it elsewhere if any prospective employer, or the government don't have the same view as you about what "living wage" you want should be.
