Sweden has overtaken Ireland to take top place in the Good Country Index and I'm not having it!

Sweden is officially the 'goodest' country in the world, study says | World Politics | News | The Independent

The GCI is designed to determine the best ‒ or “goodest” ‒ country when it comes to serving the interests of its people while avoiding damaging impacts to other nations and the environment.

Sweden scores highest for positive lifestyle contributions including prosperity, equality, health and wellbeing, while also performing well culturally.

"A good country is one that successfully contributes to the good of humanity. Of course it must serve the interests of its own people, but never at the expense of other populations or their natural resources: this is the new law of human survival," he said.

He added that the UK must collaborate and cooperate more with other countries: "It [Britain] isn’t just an island unconnected to the rest of Europe or to the rest of the world. Just like every other country on earth, it is part of one system. If it fails, we all fail."
So, P.ie are we going to take this lying down? Are we going to let those sexy Swedish fookers shame us in front of the whole world? What can we do to reclaim top spot as the goodest people in all the world?

(Am open to military options.)

They are good little puppeteers, they take in (more than they should) lots of hateful islamic little bogus refguees...Rape from muslims on native swedes is through the roof, and nobody is allowed to say anything about it - because they live under sociailst rule....The socialists have been heavily embedded in swedish politics since the 1930;s and it shows....Welcome to George Orwells 1984 :)

Hmmm. Seems this is all about being one happy clappy world.

the seven billion people who created all these problems are organised in two hundred tribes called nations.
...
Can this ever change? Yes it can. It will change when we, the people who keep those governments in power, wake them up and tell them the world has changed, and their jobs have changed with it.
That foreigners aren’t aliens, they’re humans just like us, and we care about them.
That countries aren’t islands, unconnected to the rest of the world: they’re all part of one system. If it fails, we all fail.
I'm all for global responses to global problems but the above goes way beyond the principle of subsidiarity towards the "one-world government" American right wing nutjobs worry about.

I'd imagine their education system will be 3rd world within 20 years, if I had to move I'd even pick a country like Hungry over Sweden.

Hahahahahaha.

Awwww, stop.

Well, besides their insane liberalism and immigration policies, I quite like their social policies and economic policies. Ya know, the policies that have their kids speaking better English than us?

It's not a phobia if they are actually trying to destroy our way of life.

I think this discussion is insightful and communicates the scale of the problems faced by Sweden.

It is quite simply the most politically correct country on the planet... for that, they get 'first place'.

I privately suspect this is an experiment in mass psychology. They name one country after another as the best in the world and sit back and watch the reaction from them and their neighbours.

When they named Ireland as best country, I hope they weren't reading P.ie. The outpouring of scorn and self hatred it produced would reveal us as a nation ripe for invasion.

Well we need to get three points against them on June 13th if we're to have any chance of progressing to the second round.
