RTÉ - News - SIPTU warns Bus Éireann dispute could spread

"SIPTU has warned that a dispute over Bus Éireann's decision to implement changes to terms and conditions without agreement could spread to Iarnród Éireann and Dublin Bus"

And BUS Eireann cannot guarantee a full service from Sunday as it does not know what type of industrial action it faces could be a quick stoppage or an all out one?

RTE News said that the transport workers stand to lose 60 to 70 Euro a week due to the changes they want to impose on them. But what will fat Little Leo Vacous do? How about let him lead by example and take a pro rata cut and stand in solidarity with the workers as they suffer with vicious cutbacks!

Somehow I don't think so.

There is so much fuming anger with the deceits and the lies of the FFger's and "labour" since being elected that if little Leo is not careful that any intervention he may try will most likely make matters worse!

he should get rid of the annual handout of over €250 million that the cie group receives each year let the 3 cie companies go bust, it would serve the idiotic unions right.

He should do nothing about the strikes. Let them happen and let it take as long as it has to. As for bus transport in general- introduce competition.

carpools through social media while the unions go on strike is a great idea, how long can the unions afford to go on strike for.
