When will the Holy Father defrock Homosexual Priests, now that he reiterated the ban on Homosexual Priests?

On the 7th of December His Holiness reiterated the ban on Gay Men or supporters of the Gay Culture becoming Priests.

One Irish Senator is campaigning for a role for Gay Priests in the Church. https://newwaysministryblog.wordpress.com/2016/08/21/gay-priests-have-a-place-in-the-catholic-church-says-irish-senator/ The Senator seems to believe he knows better than the Pope.

The problem is becoming so acute that Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin decided to withdraw the archdiocese’s seminarians from St. Patrick’s College Maynooth as the Gay Culture is getting out of Control. The Church places great importance of maintaining Seminaries and this is an extra ordinary move by Archbishop Martin.

The Pope's view is that Gays cannot relate properly to either men or women.

The Church must confront and face down the Gays to drive them from Ministry. The reality is that huge numbers of Priests are living a lie that people see through.

The mods have been kind enough lately to get a grip on Ratio et Fides' narrow viewpoint OPs being launched in 'culture and community' and I have similarly reported this lot and requested that it be moved to 'interesting off-topic' threads or 'chat'.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with Irish politics.

Given the billions spent by our exchequer on Catholic Education and Tax Relief for Catholic Charities it highly relevant.

Everything is about politics,
except politics,
which is about sex.

Given the finding of the Vatican that Gays cannot relate properly to men or women it would seem reasonable to remove Gay Teachers from Catholic Schools.

This from a poster who drags the RCC and religion into practically every topic and thread.

The OP is clearly in the closet. Only gay people spend this much time thinking about other gays.

What is this fixation on gay sex amongst the religious right generally, certainly of the three major religions that originate in the middle East.

Guys have sex with guys. Civil society certainly in this country has moved on and accepts that. The churches will probably get there in another 500 years.

Im firmly of the belief that anyone with an interest in gay sex must themselves be gay.

And then your next step is to remove them from the congregation?

The Holy Father reinstated a gay child abuser ....

Don Mercedes- restored to service by Pope Francis after being booted out by Benedict, only to subsequently be convicted in a civil court ....

(As Tony Soprano would have said - but he was a good earner .... as with Marcial Maciel)
On 2 January, the Vatican published a letter from Pope Francis to the world’s bishops in which he reminded them that they must show ‘zero tolerance’ towards child abuse. The next day, the American Week magazine published an article that told the story of ‘Don Mercedes’ — Fr Mauro Inzoli, an Italian priest with a passion for expensive cars and underage boys.

In 2012, Pope Benedict stripped Inzoli of his priestly faculties, effectively defrocking him. In 2014, however, they were restored to him — by Pope Francis, who warned him to stay away from minors.

Then, finally, the Italian civil authorities caught up with this serial groper of teenagers in the confessional. Last summer Inzoli was sentenced to four years and nine months in jail for paedophile offences. The Vatican, under ‘zero-tolerance’ Francis, refused to supply evidence that prosecutors wanted.

Why more and more priests can’t stand Pope Francis

Its not a Sin to be 'Gay'

- but Sodomy is a Sin.

A Priest should be attracted to neither a Man or a Woman in a Perfect World

- they should be married to God.

Clearly that is beyond the calling of some...

Personally I have no objection to a Priest being Married or Women being Priests (Priestesses?)

- but of course SSM is OUT!

Yeah. Go for it. Defrocking gay priests means there'd be a lot less priests about. Given the average age and the lack of seminarians (unsurprisingly) they'll end up with one priest per county soon enough.

No skin off my nose either way. Only annoying thing is this persistent notion the loons have that this is all highly relevant to Irish culture when in fact it is the sunset of a foreign cult at best.

Maybe it is the prelude to a cost-cutting exercise and they want to halve the membership of the Curia.
