Who will be NEXIT?

Brexit could very well precipitate a domino effect within the EU and the EUs ultimate demise. Swexits, Czexits and Frexits could follow...

  • Eurosceptic parties across continent will now demand their own OUT poll
  • Voters in Sweden and Denmark are anti-EU and may demand referendum
  • Czech prime minister has already warned Brexit could trigger a 'Czexit'
  • Far Right in France will capitalise on Brexit to make gains in 2017 election
  • Extremist politicians in Netherlands say Dutch should have their say
Eurosceptic parties across the continent are intensifying demands for their own referendums in the wake of the Brexit vote, as the repercussions of the political earthquake gradually become clear.

Shortly after the result was announced, Marine Le Pen, the leader of the Front National in France, called for a 'Frexit' vote on Twitter, while the far-Right Dutch firebrand Geert Wilders called for a 'Nexit'.

In Italy the leader of the Italian anti-immigrant Northern League, Matteo Salvini, called the European Union 'a cage of crazies' that is killing jobs and citizen dignity.

And there are also fears that Brexit could also trigger a Czexit, a Swexit, and a Grexit in the Czech Republic, Sweden andGreece. Even if the union holds, the political earthquake that has erupted in Britain will have far-reaching aftershocks.

What EU member state next? An Irexit perhaps? Or is Ireland too dependent on cheap EU immigrant labour for its economic survival, and too fearful of national sovereignty and real Irish freedom to walk it alone?

Is Paddy Power opening a book ?

The anger is in Holland, the Big one of course is France with Le Pen, my bet is the Czechs, they really cannot see a future run by Merkel and her actions lately and they really do not want to throw it away so soon.

By far the most nationalist people in the EU are the English (ironic when you consider how they murdered those with nationalist beliefs in the North).

I don't think as country they've felt European. Unlike much of the rest of Europe. As the weeks and months and years pass, they'll be no poster boys for Leave anywhere else.

NEXIT Depends on Wilders becoming PM in 2017, which on current poll figures is a realistic prospect. His PVV party have led the polls for months now. Who knows; if the EU continues to flounder for the next year, anything is possible.

Even the Germans are becoming more Eurosceptic, with AfD riding high in the polls.

What exactly are you basing that on?

Mainly behaviour of the U.K. MEP's and the abject distaste for any language apart from de English.

Actually the Dutch have a direct democracy law in Netherlands that was used to hold the vote on the Ukraine Association Agreement after getting enough signatures .

The AFD leader said before the vote she preferred reform to Brexit.

In case more countries go down this road I suggest: Spexit (Spain), Bexit (Belgium), Grexit (Greece).

Sweden Democrats MP calling for Swexit 3 days ago. But the mainstream parties met today and said no.

Could we encourage Longford to consider the possibilities?

Given the impact of the immigration issue on the vote I'd have thought Sweden was a real contender.

Sweden Democrats will offer a referendum next election campaign.
I sill think the other parties will just continue to block them.
They'd have to get over 50% to get one.

Sweden's strange. A lot of leftist Swedes, who would be in favor of immigration are also fiercely eurosceptic.
