Why would the Greens now walk away from govt. They will be slaughtered by the electorate. The worst is over for them and their cohorts. Surely they will bank any kudos they got from their publicity stunt and now find any excuse or reason to drag this out to the end of term.

The reasons are

They can't lose any more support, unless we find out they are directly implicated in the banking crisis like holding an austrian account with funds moved from Anglo

2% are going to vote green

If they bounce FF tomorrow, will 2 or 3 extra people in 100 vote for them?

I think that's a real possibility

4-5% would be exceptional for the Greens

So thats why

Is that therefore an acceptance that the FF's were correct when they said that this was all nothing more than a cynical political stunt from the Greens. Further was Fintan O'toole then correct when he said the Greens were in with FF long enough to learn their cute whorism ways
