This is a story about a Swedish-based organisation releasing American documents about a war in the Middle-East; what have we got to do with it?

What the Iraqi's will do to those aiding the occupiers of their country is their business, not ours. If the Yanks don't like it, they can go home whenever they choose.
Do you still believe in goblins and pixies too?

When was the last time you saw Shannon airport?
about 700 troops per day en route to Iraq or Afghanistan or transiting home from there, plus cargo flights.
If you think that's not assistance (and the High Court thinks it is ) then imagine allowing Iranian troops or Iraqi rebels to refuel heading west.

Shannon Watch: Home
You're correct. They should be booted out as soon as possible; the war is not our business.

Do you still believe in goblins and pixies too?
If the Americans want to raze countries for oil then let them do it alone. This is not a war against tyranny, or against terrorism, it's simply imperialism. They won't win the war anyway.

It's using 2 forms of logic, one is reasonable, one is bollox.

The first is that one of the leaks might have either names or sensitive locations not correctly redacted. Which is a reasonable concern. My own feeling is that due to the amount of pretty bloody obvious warcrimes involved in some of the revelations, and the general refusal of the US to come up with civilian death figures, any risk to their military is offset by the importance of this information being revealed.

The second is that the risk of terrorism is increased as a result of this. Which it is. If the Spanish military executed 2 Italians who were trying to surrender, that's going to increase the risk of terrorism in Spain by Italians. The lesson is to not execute people trying to surrender.

Ireland comes in 7th !
And mysteriously Kenya tops the list for Wikileaks searches :|

American/British response to this is a joke.
Same as last time, who do think they are going to fool ? (other then the american people ovb)

This is totally irresponsible.
The U.S. operates a huge network of informers and spies inside the Taliban and Al-Qaeda groupings in Afghanistan and the tribal areas of Pakistan.
These networks are vital if the U.S. hope to foil plots, gather intelligence on the activities of terrorists and capture or kill leaders.
Leaking information like this reveals the methods used to gather intelligence to the enemy, helps terrorists to learn how to avoid detection, undermines clandestine operations and puts the lives of sources at risk.
Do the owners of Wikileaks have a clue?
Do they want to hamper the war on terror, give a victory to our enemies and make it harder than ever to defeat terrorists?
How much do you get paid for writing this post?

Do you really have any clue? What you just typed? What Intelligence gathering has to do with killings?

Take example, Escalation of force, this term used when any vehicle didn't stop or driving to fast) where intelligence comes into the picture? The logs is from US military logging every incident in IRAQ, not just includes deaths of iraqi it includes every incident.

By killing everything moves doesn't guarantees intelligence gathering or is it?

Total deaths
• The database records 109,032 deaths in total for the period
• The database records the following death counts: 66,081 civilians, 23,984 insurgents and 15,196 Iraqi security forces
• The worst place for deaths was Baghdad - 45,497, followed by MND north (which is the region that goes from Baghdad up to Kurdistan) where another 34,210 died. The quietest place was the north east with only 328 deaths
Murders and escalation of force
• 34,814 people were recorded as murdered in 24,840 incidents
• The worst month was December 2006 with 2,566 murders - and 2006 was the worst year with 16,870 murders
• The database records 12,578 escalation of force incidents (where someone is shot driving too fast at a checkpoint, for instance) - and these resulted in 778 recorded deaths
Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs)
• There were 65,439 IED explosions over the period - with 31,780 deaths recorded on the database from those alone.
• There were another 44,620 IEDs found and cleared
• The worst month for IED explosions was May 2007 with 2,080 IED explosions
"TRUTH" was out their all thanks to Guardian, Newyork Times and Der Spiegel, A little of Channel4 has shown alternative media can do.

Only recession saved “Bush and Blair” otherwise they will be Hague tribunal same as Nazi regime.
