Expulsion of Moors from Spain: A Forgotten Human Tragedy (Part II) | Morocco World News

In 1492 Moors were expelled from Spain after a war that went on for decades.

Since then Europe was basically a "Christian" continent where the development of Culture, Democracy, Liberal though has flourished through many challenges and wars.

Over the last 70 years there has been a significant immigration into Europe from many of the old European Colonial states across the world, Morocco into Spain, Algeria, Tunisis and West Africa into France, Indonesia into Netherland, South East Asia and Somaliland into UK.

As this goes on clearly it has impacted heavily in many countrys where the "Ghettoisation" is claimed as areas have become majority of Muslim immigrants.

The counter to this has been that while many Rightwing partys have gained support across Europe but as of yet have not coalesced under single vision or under a single leader, even Pegida is quite limited.

Speaking with friends over last couple of weeks, post UK Brexit vote, a selection of points made that while nobody was believing it would happen in this generation, the view was next generation circa 25 years plus it was a possibility.

What was surprising was the mix was circa 50-50 British - Non British but the view was similar.

So could Europe to use the 1492 term "Expel the Moors" i.e. Muskims in next generation.

While I personally believe it is unrealistic view of the future I also believe there is a 30% chance of it coming through were Economic circumstance to change that dramatically.

Bumping this thread because based on some of the recent Turkish activity and a move away from the Liberal "let everybody in idea " could this be a forerunner for the near future......................i.e 10 years.

Oddly, I too was thinking about this today.
However, I'd put it at a 70% chance of happening again.

Terrorist bombs & bullets are going to become more frequent, not less.
In fact, so frequent are they already, you can almost be guaranteed another terrorist act in France (not including todays) between now and the election.

Very often you just need one event, at a particularly sensitive time, to push everything over the cliff.

The British could never expel the IRA, as they were from their own territory.
But for other European countries, the terrorists are coming from former colonies.

Things are going to get very nasty in Europe over the next 30 years.

In 1492 the Muslim world was steadily expanding inside the Ottoman Caliphate towards Western Europe, bent on conquest. Driving them out at that time sounds like an eminently good idea bearing that in mind. Why do we regard what the Spanish did as wrong using modern day politically correct reasoning?

Now the Turkish dictator and his ministers visiting Europe to try to hold political gatherings with emigrant Turks makes people nervous, because those who sold us multiculturalism also sold us a vision of assimilation. We cannot have ethnic enclaves comprising millions of people with allegiance to foreign powers, especially foreign powers like Turkey which has no respect for neighbours or sovereignty. For the same reason i wish we could drive out Zionist agents from Western countries, they would use our own resources and systems like politics - to benefit the foreign power Israel - and they are already doing it, they have a firm grip on European politics.
