Will the DUP and Scottish conservatives be the strangest of bedfellows?

They loathe each other by all accounts.

Davidson has produced comments to this effect, in the recent past.

Proof that whilst the DUP are useful to the Tories in a vote count, the DUP really are on their own.

Yet more evidence that there will be another election as soon as the Tories replace May.

Petitions are soooo effective.
The DUP should have stayed in the dark this exposure is not going down well with the British public. The conservatives complained that Corban had links with the IRA and now they are going into collation with the DUP?????????????????????

I can't help thinking that the Gods of Irony & hubris have noticed Theresa May and taken a personal interest in her.

Trump... Brexit.... GE2017

What is it with the left not being able to accept election results lately?

Not in any way endorsing the DUP/Tory government prop up, it could actually be quite scary. But both are, like the others democratically voted on and entitled to form government.

???

I, for one, fully accept the election results. Nationalism has withdrawn its consent from Westminster and the Tories and DUP should get into bed together.

Oh, we accept them, alright.

I'm referring to the petition that is going around and posted in the OP.

Still quite a worrying prospect for DUP/Tory alliance.

Yes but no-one actually voted for such an alliance. I can remember much anger at the Lib-Dems getting into bed with the tories in 2010...

Some arguing on the 12th this year between the Orange and any DUP member soft enough to attend a parade- DUP in government at Westminster and they can't get the Orange March at drumcree etc will be the slagging match-

Getting in to bed together would be an act of extreme pornography.

DUP getting into with the Tories? Bad, but not half as bad as getting into bed with SFIRA for the past ten years.

what's wrong with Brits being concerned with one of their major political parties forming what amounts to a 'Coalition of Chaos',
with an Irish political party,
with 'medieval' views on a range of topics,
& close relations with Loyalist terrorists ?

The DUP doesn't want a situation in which Corbyn becomes PM. So I don't see how the DUP has leverage over the Tories.
