Meanwhile, thanks to @BorisJohnson, London Transport is saddled with a thousand of ageing-but-unsellable Wrightbus products. What makes the Boris Boggler so incredible is the UK still has the world's most successful double-decker bus maker in Alexander Dennis.

I'd suggest any scandal involving presbyterian sects is trivial, compared to the stitch-up involving:
  • Politics Exchange (the d'uh! think-tank behind Cameron/early Johnson etc);
  • Johnson himself, and his manipulation of the London Transport budget (not just the mobile sauna, but the 'Boris bikes', the Greenwich dangle-wire, and the sub to Joanna Lumley's folly of the Garden Bridge);
  • his strange relationship with Thomas Heatherwick (never ask a 'designer' to do the job of a specialist engineer);
and ... not forgetting ...
  • the ever-pliant Tory media.
Christian Wolmar reckoned Johnson's vanity froth cost Londoners at least £600 million.
It seems another thing touched and named Boris buses has turned into another disaster

NI's economic viability as part of the UK further called into question. Likewise with H+W being on life support.

Its economy cant grow organically in a free market context because Westminster props up failing industries like H+W because of their totemic importance to Unionism.

Unionist based workplaces have taken a severe clattering over the past few years ... jobs for the boys is no more it seems ...
probably not the best time for the DUPlicitous party to be doing all they can to ruin what’s left of the Norn Iron economy but it looks like they’re going to persist
.. I wonder how well Jeffrey’s “I can accept 40,000 job loses” will sound in a years time

What fools they truly are

It is rather amusing to consider that if many of these self-professed "Christians" actually observed the Christian values of humility, tolerance and charity they wouldn't be as narcissistic and spiteful towards others proclaiming the same core beliefs. :)
It is because they are invariably bullsh*t artists looking to get mugs to put their hands in their pockets.

Pretty much the job description for your average priest/pastor/whatever. And that is the business plan.

You can see where Jim Allister's loyalties are, definitely not with the employees. Any right minded politician who cared about his constituents should be asking hard questions at this stage, instead he's fawning over "Sir William":

Jim Allister:

"Amidst the sadness of today I want to salute Sir William Wright for the vision and commitment which he brought in building up this company and providing good income for so many. He did not deserve this tragic outcome.

Susan Fitzgerald of the Unite trade union is starting to make some noise, but v little seems to be being reported in the Media so far about the financial shenanigans mentioned above:

Ms Fitzgerald urged the British government to intervene to save the company and called for transparency from Wrightbus over the events leading to the company entering administration.

Excerpts from here:

The Irish News, BBC and Slugger O'Toole have both mentioned the activities of the church:

Absolutely no mention in the Bel Tel that I can find, I'm sure it's not because of any bias 🤔

InvestNI has serious questions to answers. What's more, Jesus Christ and his other investors have failed to deliver the "promised" business park and other amenities on time.

Mad and all as it sounds but until recently thats the PR that used to be melted out .. i.e. that the DUP were "shred no nonsense" business people ...

Obviously now everyone can see them for the incompetent & corrupt gobsh1tes that they are

everybody apart from thew usual suspects of course .. Harris, RDE, Tommy Gorman and 3/4 of RTE & the Dublin media .. it seems they dont want to see the truth staring them in the face.. just keep pointing the finger at the shinners
It's honestly painful to watch Tommy Gorman. So woefully out of touch with reality, and yet trotted out as if he's some sort of authority on the six counties.

He's been out of touch since his "but Roy, what about the children?" nonsense.

RTE for the most part are a serious bunch of west brits. Gay Byrne was the worst in his day. Back in the day if he had Gerry Adams on he would absolutely grill him - and rightly so. Then if he had Ian Paisley on he would be to busy giving him a BJ on national television instead of grilling him too. It was shambolic and one of the reasons I'm very disinclined to pay my TV license - and hence why I don't complain either🤐

I remember the creep well .. he was the worst .. Unionist rimming really was his thing

I do recall one of his shows at the start of the peace process where himself, austin currie and about 3 or 4 others from down south (cant remember who exactly) had setup an ambush for Adams but it didnt quite work out the way they had hoped as Adams wiped the floor with them .. he really could talk back then...

but in general its truly disgusting the way the likes of Gorman skews the truth to suit unionists and castigate SF and northern nationalists in general ... we should start a petition :unsure: 😂

Mind-boggling stuff - the donation alone, Jaysus. And here was me thinking Wrightbus was good news for the North.

Lunchtime news on BBC NI reporting that the spotlight is now turning to the numerous local suppliers stung by the company, though the report is short on detail.
I can see a lot of anger building against the multi-millionaire Wright family in the next few weeks as more details about the Green Pastures church donations emerge.

Dire Straits satirised this phenomenon very well on their final album, On Every Street.
The pre-reformation chancers selling indulgences never did go away. 😀
