Zbigniew Brzezinski, who served as National Security Adviser to President Jimmy Carter, has died.

In a statement Carter called Brzezinski,"a superb public servant," and "brilliant, dedicated and loyal".

Brzezinski was also praised by President Obama.

Cold War Warrior par excellence

He understood Geo Politics inside out and was determined to see the Soviet Empire bite the dust

+ he understood that China if played properly could be used as a counter weight to Russia

- without necessarily being a formal ally.

Intelligent and perceptive

- but also pretty ruthless in the pursuit of ensuring the USA remained Top Dog.

Im tempted to quote Bismarcks famous comment when informed of the death of Europes eminence grise, the incomparable French diplomat, Talleyrand:

"Now, I wonder what he meant by that"?

EVIL C*NT

Rabid Racist Russophobe.

Promoted the policy to arm and train lots of "mujahadeen" jihadists in Afghanistan to fight the russians who came in to aid the leftist government in Afghanistan
to "give the russians their very own vietnam" in his own words.

Great policy idea which the people of Manchester amongst many many others are now paying dearly for

Evil Machievellian f*ckstick whose ideas have caused untold misery

Good Riddance!

Zbigniew was a true believer. Henry is the greatest cynic that ever walked the earth.

I would like to add a caveat to my earlier quote.

Kissinger is Talleyrand. Breszinski was Castlereagh. petunia

He was the son of a Polish diplomat.

Actually his policy of arming Afghan rebels was not truly innovative. It seems more like the continuation of prewar Polish policy which had aimed to weaken the USSR by supporting minorities in the Caucasus and elsewhere.

Oh Zbigniew was much bigger than the Afghan campaign. Truly an enormous figure.

He more or less single-handedly created the Neo-Cons, who were drawn from former Trots, not Democrat Cold Warriors or Republican anti-Communists.

Hes the perfect example of becoming exactly what he beheld.

Thats the level he operated on. Not a comment which will get likes from Piesters, but its the truth.

A few stirred up Muslims was a price worth paying for the defeat of the Soviet Union, that's what he said.

Wonder what company he's in now.
